Jobs lost as legal service provider enters administration | Northwest Business News
A Liverpool and Prescot-based legal services provider in the civil litigation sector fell under administration with the loss of more than 200 jobs.
Directors have been appointed in parts of the Pure Business group (see list of affected companies below), which provides a range of end-to-end legal services and manages more than 20,000 claims directly.
The co-administrators take the necessary steps to ensure that all client files and funds are secure and that requesters are contacted to explain next steps.
The companies, which together employed 256 people, ceased their activities with immediate effect, leading to 203 layoffs.
Administrators work with the remaining employees to shut down operations and provide support to terminated employees.
Rob Armstrong, Michael Lennon and James Saunders, all of Kroll Advisory, have been appointed joint directors of Pure Business Group Ltd, Astute Business Management Consultants Ltd, Pure Technology Systems Ltd, Pure Reporting Services Ltd, Pure Claims Ltd, Pure Legal Ltd, Pure Claims Support Services Ltd, Connect Costs Ltd and Pure Costs Budgets Ltd (the Companies).
The other companies of the extended group are not affected by the appointment of company directors.
