Lincoln Financial Group (NYSE: LNC) today launched the next generation of Lincoln AssetEdge®, an accumulation-focused variable universal life (VUL) policy offering cash value growth and the potential for tax-advantaged income and an economical death benefit. As accumulation LCV policy sales continue to increase, tripling in Q3 2021 1, AssetEdge (2022) offers market-driven investment options that can be tailored to a client’s financial goals and risk tolerance, as well as policy features that allow individuals, families, and businesses to prepare for the unforeseen.

With the Enhanced Allocation Rider, a portion of the cash value of the policy is allocated to purchase options on the S&P. Any additional growth increases both the value of the policy and the death benefit protection, which can be accessed or passed on to beneficiaries.

AssetEdge is now also available with an enhanced cash value endorsement for individual administrators, designed for those looking for a tax-balancing option that can reduce overall tax impact and provide the flexibility to access the full value of the policy no redemption fees.

New investment options

AssetEdge includes a wide range of investment options that can be tailored to a client’s goals for return potential and downside protection. In addition to more than 75 variable market-based investment options, two index accounts linked to the performance of the S&P 500 Index, several managed risk funds and a fixed account, AssetEdge now offers two Fidelity AIM® Dividend Index account options. Fidelity accounts use a dynamic allocation approach that combines the characteristics of high-dividend stocks with the safety of US Treasuries to help provide a more stable investment experience over time.
